The rallying cry will be “tusks up”

No. I’ll go to the games since I live nearby but there’s not enough booze in the state to make that sound cool. Logo looks like blue Preds but ok

They need to release a calendar of their most hirsute players to mess with the Mormons. No other reason.

I have mixed feeling. Colours don’t feel unique. Logo looks like the Predators and Wild had a baby. And the chant in the rink will be “let’s go mammies” which sound pornographic ;)

But, it could have been so much worse.

      “let’s go mammies”

Why wouldn’t it just be “Let’s go Mammoths”? It’s the same number of syllables.

A lot of people find the “ths” sound hard to articulate. It’s made worse when screaming. Try it – the volume just kind of dies at the end of the word. Professional singers do enunciation exercises to train clarity, but fans notsomuch

As a Finn I will call them Utah Mummoth. Mummo means a granny in Finnish and Mummot means grannies.

I thought they should have just stuck with Utah hockey club. Kinda unique for a hockey team to not have a “name”.

Not to be confused with the Colorado Mammoth box lacrosse team 😂

Kidding aside I like the name and color scheme. Nice work Utah
