Peertube open source and most importantly decentralized.

        Check the faq: https://joinpeertube.org/faq#what-are-the-peertube-features-for-content-creators

Find an instance here, if you don’t want to manage your own: https://joinpeertube.org/instances

I second this, although unfortunately, the average user is not very aware of it.

True, it is the nature of fediverse and the like. I keep waiting for the for-profit proprietary options to collapse, the gov’ts impose draconian measures making it so heinous for users that they seek out decentralized options.

Rumble is real time voice chat right? Closest I know to that is Jitsi Meet. For text chat there are many irc networks.

Like others said in other responses, Peertube may be a good call. Iirc, there’s also a reels-type of federated platforms akin to TikTok too, but I can’t remember the name.

Are you sure you know what Rumble is ?😳😳… It’s basically an alternative to YouTube… A space where you can upload your videos…

You can do all that on Jitsi ??

No, Jitsi is a chat program. I must have been confusing Rumble with some other thing. But as with youtube, the video collection is much more important than the software. Releasing all the youtube software wouldn’t change youtube’s dominance even slightly.

clubhouse.com? I don’t know anything else about it really.
