Futo is just the logical conclusion of the Open Source community, CLAs and source available licensing. They do donate to actual FSF licensed software projects and do fund some Open Source developers but in no way will they give up any rights for the software that they sell to their customers.
So their target market is Open Source users who don’t care about software freedom.
