Youngest has an ear infection, Oldest has a cough but no fever, partner is sick in bed, and I’m suffering from a minor(or major idk how to tell) anxiety attack that started Saturday and is still going. I’ve gotten 6 hours of sleep maybe over the last 2 days. I’ve missed 2 out of the 3 days I was scheduled to work this week.

Gonna aim for a low impact day today, maybe do a bit of outlining for an essay I’m working on. Probably mostly gaming and chilling though.

I’m waiting on a reply from a friend I organize with on how the org we are involved in has bee treating them and depehding on the reply, I may be changing course on local movements. I think this is where the anxiety is coming from.

All three parks we went to this morning had birthday parties show up right after we got to them. So we ended up playing in the creek and totally skipping naps. Now we’re muddy, cold, tired, and have a bucket full of cool rocks! We even found a fossil!

Out getting breakfast, kids sleeping over grandmas, getting some Japanese pancakes and karaage & waffles.

Had a good set of days with my kid started by taking him to the Shedd Aquarium in chicago. Never seen so much Wonder on a child’s face. Those set of days were so good I even got a sexy dad gets laid because he’s so awesome award from the wife

Took our kids on the swing for the first time this last week and they loved it!
