You can make a custom character for the multiplayer but it’s oh so important that you play as this specific schlub for the single player
The story is very specifically about that schlub though, like all other Rockstar games, except GTA V, which is about three schlubs, and GTA VI, which will be about a schlub and a lady
GTA 2 was also about multiple schlubs, one of whom was even a lady!
they could’ve written a different story about a schlub who wants to be able to vote
Writing a story about a schlub of unspecified gender is not a new idea. Saints’ Row, the better GTA, has been doing it since 2006.
