Okay, so this is mostly a joke, but since the enthusiasm is there, why not make it the real deal? Do the romance, do the fabulous environment, and then make an evening of it with your whole fist. Get deep, make a puzzled expression, and ask, “what’s this?” Pull out your hand that you’d been magician-hiding the ring in, and present it.

She has a ring for me too, and I know that she may well try to surprise me with it. We’re not the types to do public scenes or anything, but I’ll be watching her like a hawk when we’re doing some fun stuff like watching a sunset together
Silliness, appreciation for nature? A ring? Get an everstone replica onto a ring, then leave for her to find behind a waterfall.
proposing naked you say,
how about you get her a boquet of roses, with one rose sneakily equipped with a ring (maybe tied to with a string, or slipped on the stem so it’s not visible unless you take the bouqet apart), then once they’re in a vase and you’re both naked you can get the rose you know has a ring and propose with the ring rose. if you want to make it a little silly you could put the rose in your teeth and ask her to dance, then wait until she notices (or just reveal it at the end of the dance if she was too lost in your eyes to notice)
so you don’t scramble looking for the ring rose you could get a bouquet of white roses with one red rose in the middle, and that one would be the ring rose. if she wants to take out the red rose you can just go “wait no i have a plan for that for later”

It’s also going to be tough to hide a bouquet while we walk in the summer heat to one of the beautiful places we’re going to visit
Our mutual love of nature is something that is hugely important to us, so it’s going to take some walking, some sweating and me trying not to give the game away the whole time!
Put it in a fast-food burger box, kneel in front of her with the box and play the whole thing as a “joke”. Until she opens the box and sees the ring.
Bonus points if you stick it on top an actual burger.
