That movie was fucking weird. It looked like they changed script halfway through and suddenly you had a Jackie Chan movie rather than the way more interesting Nothern Ireland / IRA movie that the first half was about.
Also when I watched it while visiting my parents, I had to restrain myself from singing the IRA songs, since the movie doesn’t really make them out to be the good guys and my parents are mega libs.
Peirce Brosnan is the only Brtsh person who looks cool enough to play Gerry Adams.

Everything went downhill after the Soviets were no longer part of the story, and even then their inclusion was very weak. But yeah, basically Tommy is able to face off against a bunch of brutal thugs with a cold stone face, then he starts crying like a little baby when he encounters Mosley because… his speeches rile up people or something
It’s a shame the Far Cry games kinda suck and the CEO is a creep. Seriously, it kills any love I’d get playing a shooter where I get wacky animal companions and drugs that give me superpowers.
