You’re getting the death sentence in China if you’re caught for this. No doubt about it.

    doubt

Please produce the law in China in regards to this showing you will be killed or some examples of it happening. Don’t just do the liberal thing where you assume “China authoritarian and kills everybody” thing. Let’s be better than that on a leftist website, jfc.

Giving state secrets to a foreign adversary is 110% a capital punishment in China.

This is not propaganda. I don’t see why you think literal actual treason wouldn’t hold the death penalty in a country that holds the death penalty for drugs crimes and murders.

Depending on city this is implemented by either shooting or injection. Fairly mixed implementations across the country as many cities have no injection facility. The most recent two mass murderers that attacked schoolchildren for example were both shot.

Is it not pretty standard in most countries for literal foreign intelligence spies to be executed for treason and espionage? It’s not like Awoo is singling China out as “those dastardly Asians” in the usual liberal way, just acknowledging that China doesn’t treat CIA moles with kid gloves, nor should they.

Also, I’m not going to go digging around right now for non-western sources on this, but isn’t it well known that China did execute a number of US spies a few years ago? It’s been discussed here before.

between 2010 and 2012, the PRC rounded up and killed/imprisoned the majority of cia assets in China as a result of a security breach
this was absolutely the correct response, you can’t have spies from a hostile foreign government wandering around
from a morality perspective it is neutral at worst, spies and intelligence assets are always fair game

You’re doing the liberal thing where you assume any sort of necessary action in the real world which wouldn’t happen in a utopia must be evil authoritarianism if China/ other socialist country is doing it.
