A Bluesky post

Just to be clear, this is a violation of the fundamental ethical principle in clinical trial design called “equipoise.”

Equipoise means that no-one is exposed to excess risk just to test the therapy. That’s specifically why vaccine trials don’t use placebo arms.

Ethical violation as POLICY.

I really wonder what the chuds are saying about this sort of stuff. Here’s what I imagine…

Look, people die. Even babies die. It happens. But we can afford to pay for all this woke stuff! Americans used to be a tough, hardy people. Maybe some babies have to die so we get tough again.

what they’ll say about it is “people are dying because of vaccines” and when you point out that more people are dying as a result of this they’ll first say “no they aren’t”, but then if pressed, they’ll say “well obviously more people are dying because people are still being vaccinated, and this just goes to show what we’ve been saying all along: that that vaccines are even more dangerous than we thought and the woke mob was just covering it up until now”.

Ohh were getting close to the point of them solving their own problem.

Like they just assume all these vaccines are getting shoved through with no oversight. So they demand that steps be taken to not rush out vaccines.

And all the vaccine makers will tell them they’ve been doing that all along at which point they’ll declare they fixed vaccines.

Very small nitpick that’s hardly relevant, the Tuskegee experiments didn’t involve vaccines, they told the victims they were being given treatment for the active syphilis they knew they had, not trying to prevent it.

Of course vaccines and fluoride in the water are going to be the targets of this regime. They’re extraordinarily effective for a modest cost. There isn’t a whole lot of business to be done around them outside the public sector.

Compare that to painkillers, plasticizers, and various food additives, which make billions a year through poisoning people. The deeply rotten stuff won’t get treated, and we’ll get distracted by a red herring instead.
