Would you want it to be like the Fallout show with a new story, or would you want it to follow one of the games that we already have. If you want a new story and/or setting, where and when would you like it? Me personally would like to see it take place in Elswyr

Somerset Isles or Hammerfell either during the great war or the early fallout of the empire signing the White-Gold Concordat and Hammerfell leaving the empire because of it.

I’d like to see the story of the Red Year in full detail, so early 4th era in Vvardenfell. I imagine a certain amount of story to establish some background and key characters and the story behind Baar Dau, then what could only be a jaw-dropping depiction of it crashing into Vivec City, and of the subsequent explosion of Red Mountain, then the drama of the aftermath, likely as seen from a few different viewpoints, and with some plot hook to tie those different people together.

There’s so much lore that has never been in any of the games except for books you find lying around. it’d be easy to make a new(ish) story without even needing much ground work. The games only focus on the 3rd and 4th era while the other like, 5 eras never get told. Like, what happened to the dwemer? How was the empire formed and what was the conflict like with the other provinces before they joined? What was the empire like under the Pelagius the mad? What was it like during the Mythic Era? What was it like for Talos to ascend to Godhood? What are some of the other planes of Oblivion like? There are so many stories that could be told in depth that just get glossed over in the games through books and dialog.

Definitely a new story, but I would like to see some familiar places. I am digging the Fallout show, and I feel like it hits the right balance of introducing the world to new people and rewarding fans with references and connections.

An Imperial boat ride into Black Marsh prob second era the coincidence w/ the Crimson plague.

It could drastically expand and clarify the Black Marsh lore without removing all of the mystique like setting a game there would because TV unlike an open world RPG limits what is shown to the viewer.

That time frame + setting would also give the show a lot of creative license because it has a bunch of races that got wiped out by the plague and have very little established lore.

Probably should do a new filler story far putside the times of the games, and it should depend on budget. Like doing something about Nords coming to Tamriel may be cheaper than say some Oblivion or Apocrypha type of story, or grand scale Eummerset buildings.

From a cost standpoint in terms of set pieces and CGI.

New story preferred, but if they want to tie into an existing game maybe a Rosecrantz and Guildenstern are Dead style story about smaller role/rarely mentioned background characters to give fresh perspective, and I’m a fan of hist lore and small squad/adventuring groups set against a broader conflict. Argonians in the black marsh during the Oblivion event? Maybe some spooky Breton ghost/vampire/zombie stories. Or maybe a psijic order time travel story.
