      I am very far from the creator. But when I was a kid I meet a kid who parents where pug breeders. Me and him and some other kids got high, then you could sit or lay down in a room full of baby pugs. It. Was. Awesome.

      As an adult I understand how problamatic our relationship with dogs is, especially breeds like pugs. BUT I still love pugs and they they will always make me smile first.

      Man made sufferings, they have a hard time breathing and have a bunch of health issues, imagine an alien race comes and breeds disfigured humans with a bunch of health issues and difficulty breathing, just because they think it’s cute

        Most purebreeds are genetic backwaters now with large numbers of congenital defects endemic. Dalmatians being born blind and having seizures being an obvious example.

        Then when you add on the characteristics demanded by kennel club “breed standards” you end up with frankenstein creations not able to support themselves. Daschunds with legs so short their belly is constantly rubbing on the ground and they get infected sores, bloodhounds with such drooping jowels that they get injured, bulldogs that can’t support their own weight. Mongrelise your pets!
