Ah nice! It’s been quite a big change for us. It’s our first house, so still wrapping my head around that AND trying to figure out how things work and what to do around these parts. I’m out near Mey, it’s truly a beautiful part of the world though, and so far the people we’ve met have been lovely. It’ll be interesting to see how it is over the coming months in tourist season though!
Aye, Caithness is full of great folks, and summer is the best time for it. Be sure to get along to the county show, and the Mey games for you. Halkirk games are also good. And the Wick Gala is a great day too. Peedie Sands when the weather is excellent, and Scotland’s haven is worth a day out too. Johnson’s shell pies and the fishmonger in Thurso harbour all my other highlights
