Predictably, the spuds are being put to the sword by Liverpool. Joke of a club. They should go back to playing cricket, because they suck at football.
Ah well. There are definitely worse clubs who could be beating us to the title. And Liverpool have deserved it this season, honestly. Hopefully next season we’ll be back with a stronger, deeper squad and have less injuries, and be able to finish top.

Remarkable promotion run by Wrexham. Three promotions in as many seasons is insane. But this talk of them going straight up to the PL next season is kind of absurd. Even if they managed it, without massive investment (much more than McElhenny and Reynolds could provide) they would go straight back down, probably harder than Southampton did this season. It would be better for them to take a few seasons’ pause in the Championship and find their feet.
I think they have investment done right, plus they found funds elsewhere i.e. the show, collabs etc. Plus they have a squad that live and die by their badge. The championship will be tough for them, it’ll be interesting to see who they can bring into the fold next season.
Congrats to Liverpool, best team in the league this season by a long stretch. We fell well short. Still got something massive to fight for though, and hopefully a massive transfer window. coyg
