“The Cutie Pox” is an Apple Bloom episode, which I for some reason decided to declare my favorite episode when I had only ever seen like six episodes of the show (it’s not my favorite anymore); “May The Best Pet Win” introduces Rainbow Dash’s pet Tank; “The Mysterious Mare Do Well” introduces a superhero which we will never see again in the show but will see again in the comics and other ancillary media; “Sweet and Elite” is not a particularly remarkable episode, it’s got Rarity in Canterlot and Dathings made a YTP based on it in 2012, so there’s that; “Secret of My Excess” is a Spike episode, in which he becomes a me me BIG boy; and finally there’s “Hearth’s Warming Eve” which introduces Equestria’s national day, Hearth’s Warming, which is usually seen as a “not-Christmas” in terms of its winter aesthetics, but in terms of the actual lore and themes can really be seen as sort of a weird amalgamation of different Canadian-Seppolandic holidays like Columbus Day, (“American”) Thanksgiving, Canada Day, and Independence Day.
