Got a nice action shot of a heron trying to get some dinner. I’ve also had several geese start hissing and coming after me as I jogged past.

Speaking of, how many geese do you think you could take in a fair fight? Assume your choice of a natural environment. I think I could take at least 6. You can grab one of them by the neck and use it as a club to take out the other ones.

Some good days and some bad days brain- and body-wise. Doing some coverage for classes at the dojo and had two good classes where I had people work on some bad habits I’ve noticed creeping into the movement of most of the students and one bad class where I couldn’t remember a kata. Sleep and work exhaustion make a big difference day to day. My arms have been aching for two week due to an unrelated reason so I haven’t been able to do much more than teach until yesterday as I was letting them do some healing. It was good to see progress there. Plus all the normal dread regarding the future of the US.

Also, three geese. One for each arm and the leg I’m not using to stand on.

As always when asked how many of something I could “take in a fight” my personal answer is zero because even if something wanted to fuck me up it won’t make me want to fuck it up in return.

I think we in the US need to start mass protesting our government. NO ONE works ANY job until we fix some shit.

    So, not the best mentally…

Except if you talk about the goose club

Then you are automatically kicked out of the club?!
