A chance for people who may some day exit the simulacra and want to better understand what happened to their world in 2013 when the Internet Research Agency fed the 5,000 alternate reality screen games into media systems that have now taken over Hearts and Minds to be self-destructive, hate as faith, egoism, etc.
It’s very grim, things are horribly bad right now, the technology has gone so far beyond human minds that there isn’t much chance to turn it around. But maybe someone somewhere else in the world might come to comprehend just exactly what buttons were pushed in late 2012 and early 2013.

I am on my deathbed, there is not a single person on this world that would describe me as “better than ANYONE else”. I have extreme severe brain damage and can not function in this world of people worshiping Donald Trump every day since Q4 2014. Everyone else is enjoying saying “I hate humans in America” over and over and over, I can’t deal with and get pleasure over hate like everyone else does. It wrecks my life. I’ve been hospitalized over a dozen times since 2015, everyone else is enjoying mocking and hating human beings they disagree with. I’m not enjoying a single thing living in the USA and have not since 2014.
I was barely able to have any joy since 2009 when I started to plan moving to Africa and Middle East to study why people could read the Quran, Torah, Bible and only find one message; hate the non-believers. Over and over and over that is all the clergy teaches; hate and dehumanize those you disagree with. Which is what Lemmy people teach to each other posting after posting in April 2025. Earth is Hell, and so many people enjoy it, I do not. Hate sickens me, you may enjoy dehumanizing people you don’t agree with, but I do not. Neil Postman, Marshall McLuhan, Rick Roderick education that everyone in 2025 has ignored. I don’t need the Washington Post to inform me that simulacra is happening in Lemmy comments. People complain and go into egoism shock so much over my personal English prose writing ( that !BabelTower@lemm.ee ego shock ) on social media, that I am just pointing people to better-edited words.
