I like that even his father with his “Elon’s too awesome to be able to interact with all these idiots you meet in politics and that’s why DOGE was not a success” take on things, could see that Elon was a shit father and has no hesitation roasting him in public for it. I will hand it to him, this guy really just says what’s on his mind and gives absolutely no fuck what you think about it.

"Well maybe I did impregnate my stepdaughter. Twice. And then say ‘It’s not practical’ to be living with her anymore, saying ‘Any man who marries a [younger] woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while, but there’s a big gap … and that gap is going to show itself.’ But at least I’m not as bad as Elon, that guy’s on a whole other level.”

I feel like there should be some kind of Lemmy jail for people who just read the headline and then knee-jerk their way to whatever random thought occurs to them based on reading the headline.

And profits down 71 percent, and beyond Tesla, the obliteration of his personal brand which is basically the source of his wealth. And a number of details about the changing landscape of EVs which make it unlikely that Tesla can continue on anywhere near the near-magic trajectory they used to be able to travel on.
