The administration is too stupid to invest/subsidize nuclear energy to meet America’s demand. We’re fucked.
How bout they continue to invest in renewable as well. You know, the fastest growing energy sector in even blood red Texas. There’s fucktons of money to be had without drilling our national parks.
Absolutely! We’re still a bit away from being solely reliant, in the general sense, on renewables, but they’re fantastic at grid supplimentation! We should be heavily investing in both, but much more in nuclear, as it has higher energy yield and is able to meet demand better. Having an EE degree has proven more stressful in recent years with the administrations not doing enough for energy demand in America. It’s no small stretch to say, we are decades behind on demand and infrastructure. We’ve punted the ball so many times that it’s a monumental feat to move quickly enough without a large investment in the grid, and even then lol
The last places that deserve shrinkage is the national park system 😔 dammit.
