I made a quiche last night and wanted to add a caesar salad. Grocery store only had USA romaine. Nope. But, they did have “Live Lettuce Green Leaf Lettuce”. PRODUCT OF CANDA. Grown in Alberta. “Live” meaning that the roots are still attached, so it lasts way longer than other lettuce. It’s delicious! Elbows up! We are NOT the 51st state.
just the goods, vegan affordable skin care made in Winnipeg
Tried this instead of Halls. Wish it would list sugar content on the back label, but pretty decent as a Canadian product.
I just bought a big order from the South Island Pie Co. It’s an ex-pat Kiwi living in Edmonton that produces NZ-style meat pies. They are fucking awesome, and the crust is out of this world. Highly recommend.
RW&Co. They had a big sale and I got silk like dress shirts for $30 and they’re higher quality than anything else in my wardrobe. Stylish too. My wife approves. Headquartered in Montreal and manufactured in China and other places.
I’ll add to that. Their sister brand is Reitmans and they have what I was looking for for a while: cotton leggings with pockets! Quite pricey but it seems like they offer 40% off every few weeks. I also saw some viscose camis and tops while on store. I’ll have to check out more of their basics.
