MMA used to be home to oddballs unified by a love of beating each other up inside cages. But since Donald Trump’s first presidency, the UFC has rebranded the sport as a refuge for the “anti-woke sports fan,” while breaking unions and censoring the media.

I used to watch quite a bit of UFC until Trump started showing up. But also their cards suck now anyways.

Surprised they didn’t mention the wwe/ufc merger. Trump’s always loved professional wrestling and the mcmahon family.
One of the early executive orders this admin was for a celebration of the 250th anniversary of US independence (july 4 2026). I’m convinced it will be a coliseum fight or a ‘games’ a la the medieval king era.
It was never about social movements, principles or even conscious thought. It was always about money and the intended audience.
