I can strongly recommend this game. I played for about a ~100 hours in early access (although I haven’t played it in the last year or so).

It’s an eclectic mix of different genres, there are survival elements (very mild), RPG elements (you can send parties to get loot), but the main focus is on building out your colony and developing complex production chains to expand technology, colony size and get new buildings.
