Biden could have done that last year after Kamala lost. The GOP justices issued their immunity ruling which gave the president (in theory) incredible powers for “official acts”. It will always be hilarious to me that after the election - Biden did nothing with those powers. When the justices ruled they did so for a possible Trump presidency. Biden might as well not even existed. They ignored him entirely because they knew he wouldn’t do a damn thing. And any sane leftist (including me) knew that too. But it’s still funny to me. It’s like if you had Thor’s Hammer right at your side but you didn’t even consider using it because of the fucking norms.
