On the plus side, if Trump carries on his nonsense long enough, it will finally break the US’ hegemony. It’s already prompting Europe to do what it should have done decades ago: fund its own defense and loosen its dependence on US tech.
It’s gonna hurt a lot of people worldwide though, as the beast won’t go down quietly. And it’s dangerous because it emboldens other unsavory countries like Russia and China.
This would be good for the average American in the long run if other countries just blacklisted all US arms manufacturers permanently.
