#Webheads keep winning!!
I mean, obviously, most people watched D&W in the cinema.
My issue is I still need to see the second Deadpool, I suspect some of it is MW has a lower barrier to entry.
Not only that, there are 2 cuts of the 2nd Deadpool. The R-rated “normal” version, and the PG-13 version where he kidnaps Fred Savage and re-enacts the bedtime story scenes from Princess Bride.

Oh shoot, which ones cannonical?
It’s Deadpool… BOTH are canonical. :)
I found the PG-13 version hilarious. The “normal” version is just a straight Deadpool movie.
The only thing you stand to gain from watching DP2, as far as DP/W goes, is Peter origin story. The rest of the film is ignored.
Thanks, that’s good to know.
TBH i don’t think a single thing in the second deadpool is brought up in the third one.
Loki, in the other hand, is heavily relevant.
Shoot, haven’t seen the second season of Loki.
Second season of Loki is so good! Truly gives meaning to “burdened with glorious purpose”
I haven’t seen any of Loki, and still enjoyed D&W. No clue how many references I missed, but I think it’s mostly they share some tech.
I didn’t bother streaming Deadpool & Wolverine because I bought it on physical.
Looks like I wasn’t the only one. It was the #1 physical media seller in October, despite only coming out on 10/22. Then it went on to being #1 in November and #1 for the year.
This reminds me of the stories about Twilight being one of the most pirated movies of that era. Plenty of people didn’t want to pay $10/ticket + snacks, etc, but were still curious about the cultural train wreck.
This feels more like a commentary on how many more people watch Netflix than D+
Yeah man I’ll watch dogshit for what I’m already paying, especially if its related to spiderman. But I ain’t paying extra for dog shit.
But it isn’t related to Spider-Man. It’s not even a super hero movie
Madame Web is related to spiderman. Thats where she first appeared. I dont expect him in there but still
I’ll give most capeshit films a chance, once they hit a streaming service I already pay for… but Madam Web was SO bad that I gave up about fifteen minutes in. Kraven was at least full of decent action sequences, despite the laugh-out-loud bad dialogue.
