After hearing the news lately from RFK Jr. about him planning to launch the autism study and have “some answers” for autism & treating it as a disease, and hearing that he will send money to compensate for autistic people and their families, as an autistic person myself, I feel SO enraged.
I think that on Mayday, there should be an event for people with autism and their families to protest against the statements that RFK Jr. has made, and to organize perhaps some sit ins and marches on the HHS & perhaps protest outside RFK’s house.
I am certain that I am not the only person who feels this way.
I am NOT a burden. I don’t need to be compensated. My family doesn’t need to be compensated.
And also, we need to write to our representatives telling them to stop this study and to tell RFK Jr. to fuck off.
I am SO angry. I don’t have words to describe my anger for RFK and his policies, and I have had enough.

Its disgusting. I’m also autistic. As a community, we need to stand together and support each other through this. I know it may be hard for some neurodivergent people to protest, but this is important.
I saw a cure for brain worms in Baulder’s Gate that I think we should try on RFK jr.
Traditionally, when fascists decide that some kinds of people are deficient and start asking doctors to report them, while building and expanding concentration camps, things haven’t gone well. This stuff needs to be stopped while it’s still RFK Jr. being an ignorant fool and not something much worse.
Autism is a spectrum. There are autistic children that definitely need more help. The problem is that anyone on the spectrum identifies as autistic when there are thousands of children with serious disabilities.
It’s like if everyone nearsighted identified as blind. “Don’t help the blind! I have 20/200 vision and I’m not a burden!”
Just because RFK is a looney doesn’t mean anything he says should be considered bad.
Maybe we don’t let fascists make lists of undesirables, full stop.
This isn’t some aspie supremacy shit, this is an existential threat to all of those with autism
