Just to say it out loud…

Great for AOC and Bernie, great. Even some of the protests. But it isn’t addressing the alternate reality and Fox News / MAGA cult.

If anything, what’s happening is Donald Trump and Elon Musk, just two people, are being setup for failure and people aren’t looking at this as a sustained change in society since March 2013… especially social media behaviors that have become incredibly anti-reality, anti-citation, anti-book, anti-goodness in favor of egoism, mimicking Trump social media methods, dehumanizing others that are disagreed with, etc.

It’s like Israel and Palestine since October 7, 2023… people are not pulling out Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Malala and saying: love one another, you need to increase love and fix these problems of hate / terrorism / war / dehumanizing each other. Nobody is calling for love and compassion, people just say “free Palestine”… that isn’t supporting love and compassion, that’s just wanting some government change. Israel faith is not in love and compassion reforms and teaching, it’s in weapon systems… and Iran hasn’t helped that problem either.

Russia, the only good Russia can do is admit that everything they have done to Ukraine since 2013 has been a mistake, war is a mistake, and tell the world they realize now it is a mistake. The world needs that kind of leadership right now, people actually admitting bad is bad. Maybe Putin will face up to large language models / artificial intelligence being trained on the Kremlin + Cambridge Analytica information warfare payloads and pressing back on domestic Russia… and see the need to leap past all this “hate harder” bullshit that the whole world is chasing.

“Even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, men do not easily assume the task of opposing their government’s policy, especially in time of war. Nor does the human spirit move without great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought within one’s own bosom and in the surrounding world. Moreover, when the issues at hand seem as perplexing as they often do in the case of this dreadful conflict, we are always on the verge of being mesmerized by uncertainty; but we must move on. And some of us who have already begun to break the silence of the night have found that the calling to speak is often a vocation of agony, but we must speak. We must speak with all the humility that is appropriate to our limited vision, but we must speak.”
