What series is your comfort read?
Back in the early days of the pandemic, I had a bunch more time to read when I was basically prevented from working for a while. I ended up diving into a bunch of different WNs. Of those, probably my favorite Iyashikei was My House Is a Magic Power Spot ~Just by Living There I Become the Strongest in the World~.
Looking through the tags, it doesn’t actually have an Iyashikei tag, but it certainly read like one. The MC is so cartoonishly OP that there are never any stakes. Because of this, most of the story is downtime, silly shenanigans as the MC basically just lounging about and playing fantasy minecraft with super apple tree powers (yes, a lot of his powers involve apple trees). It’s a good time, and the WN is fully translated, so I was able to binge through it pretty quickly.

I have started to find the anime boring since I know how the story goes.
Not so much with the text version.
I haven’t read the LNs, but have read pretty far into the manga, so I understand this. It’s a great series.

<Making Magic: The Sweet Life of a Witch Who Knows an Infinite MP Loophole>
The most comfy of reads. Nothing ever goes very bad for the MCs, they enjoy a nice slow life in their forest and adventuring. The flash forwards at the end of each volume is always nice, revisiting the places 50,100,300 years in the future and seeing how things progressed.

FUNA is always great for a comfy read. Mile just trying to be normal and messing everything up, there is more action than making magic but it never feels like they are really in danger as we have Mile.
<Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody>
A more action packed read but death March still has lots of comfy. Satou and his girls (daughters like relationships) travelling around the world (basically tourists) and occasionally fighting demons and demon lords. It has more fighting but again we have Satou so it never feels too serious.
