The Australian-Canadian owner of a Toronto cafe chain has imported Vegemite for years. Now, authorities say he can't — but why?

(Australian PM) Albanese said: “I stand with the Aussie café owner.”

“I can confirm here today that I am pro-Vegemite. I actually put a lot of Vegemite on my toast when I eat bread,” he said.

“It’s a good thing. I did hear the report. It’s rather odd they’re allowing Marmite, which frankly, is rubbish. Let’s be clear: I’m pro-Vegemite, anti-Marmite. That’s my position.”

    Albo needs to immediately requisition CA$8000 9031 dollarydoos worth of Vegemite from the strategic national Vegemite reserve. Then send the SAS to Canada riding some attack kangaroos with the Vegemite in their pouches, to restock the poor bugger’s shelves
