Israel knows they’re losing favor in the United States, so all that has happened in the past decade, and what will happen in the following, will be a mad dash to grab as much land and commit as much genocide as possible, because this is their high water mark of influence. They’d rather use up all their good will right now, than just let it slowly erode.
