Opinions shouldn’t be criminalized, but actions certainly should.
What about the action of spreading conspiracies about minorities, using them as a scape goat for societal problems and thereby contributing to a slow dehumanisation of that minority which ultimately emboldens further hatred, discrimination and worse forms of violence against them?
That’s an action. Lies and libel.

I never respected fascists and did everything I could to promote proper resistance that never appeased. I tried to get more liberals to grow a spine, but they have no power anymore, so I have no motivation to seek their help. They must fight fascism, or have their pigs crush me like the authoritarians they are. They’ll have no illusory choices of peace
no side actually considers the other’s opinions in reality though, they just say they do
