I lived in Bilinga for five years of my childhood. So I know exactly where you are.
You made a good move to Perth. The south end of the gold coast is an awful place now, and causing housing problems as far away as Murwillumbah. I drive to Tugun once a month for health issues or the airport. That as a daily commute would be nasty.
The humidity is sapping my energy today. I am hopefully getting in the garden, no no , going to bunnings, tomorrow :)
I hope your day was more productive than mine was in the end. Quick trip up to get some fresh bread for breakfast, followed by a long slow day of zero plans.

End of a successful week at work, time to spend the weekend with family over from ye olde country… so drink the beers.

Big fan of Core Cidery up the hills way. Percentages are fairly intense though.
I’m in a cast. This sucks. Only silver lining is I get tomorrow off. Imagine getting a 5-day medical certificate, but four of those days are public holidays already. 😢

Casts can be such a pain in the arse. Makes everything slow and hard to do.
Completely altered my partner and i’s holiday in North America a few years back. Still had a great time, but we had to content ourselves with the West Coast, or go theough a whole rigmarole of cast breaking ,then new casts twice over to carry on the original itinerary.
