I got the gum and per someone’s suggestion from a while ago I bought a pack of hemp cigs for when cravings careen into “I’m going to kill someone if I don’t get something in me” territory.

Wish me luck, but I feel like a broken record with these quits.

  • Bupropion and nicotine patches based on the amount of nicotine you consume. Alternatively there are smokeless nicotine inhalers and oral nicotine sprays you can get at the pharmacy if you don’t like gums or lozenges. Good luck!

The final time I quite smoking it was the patches. I didn’t think they would make a big difference but holy shit it made it so much easier. If you can get insurance to cover them, I highly recommend it, even if you have to pay out of pocket it’s cheaper than smoking.

It really takes luck and it’s hard, but I found that replacing my smoking ritual with a walk and wearing the patches to come down over like 6 weeks or something really helped.

    Good luck!
