It added that their parole will expire in seven days and issued a warning: “Do not attempt to remain in the United States — the federal government will find you.”

Sending Ukrainians to Ukraine wouldn’t make Trump a “Russian asset”. Why would the Russian government have any issue with Ukrainians leaving Ukraine?

But it was definitely on purpose. Just as part of the rest of the anti-immigrant program.

More men for the front is probably one of the few things Zelensky could ask Trump for that he wouldn’t mind compromising on. Especially because it is additional leverage in negotiations with Russia.

And it dove-tails with the existing anti-immigration rhetoric and policies they are already doing. Seems like a win-win, which is another reason this seems like more of a “mistake”.

He’s probably doing it to spite Melania since she threatened a divorce after the Stormy Daniels stuff became public. Trump is vindictive enough to do something like that. “See what I can do? I can have you deported and then blow up the place I send you!”

He’s also dumb enough to think Slovenia and Yugoslavia are the same country as Ukraine. Or that his wife is Ukrainian. That won’t stop him from terrorizing everyone.
