I took a break, again, from comics but I was in the middle of reading DC’s Absolute stuff based on a recommendation from hexbear. I was also getting into some Ultimate Spider-Man which is good! I read a little bit from the Ultimate universe back when it premiered in the early 2000’s and I didn’t like it, but so far Spidey has been solid.
Im still reading the absolute and ultimate titles, they all pretty good but my fav currently are wonder woman, x-men and the ultimates
the new titles for both have potencial, flash seems good it was a solid issue as well as green lantern, mantian manhunter looks to be pretty good with the art and story, and i like ultimate wolverine its like if his comic started back when he was under the control of weapon x and slowly breaking free.
as for non alt comic i been reading Batgirl (2024) and i really like it
started on some random recent marvel re-prints of older material:
Thor Epic Collection, Vol. 24: The Lost Gods - I forgot how campy 90s comics were but it’s fun so far, the tree kicked out the asgard gods to earth and made them forget who they are
Black Widow Modern Era Epic Collection, Vol. 3: Chaos - nice stylized Phil Noto art, each issue is a different mission so far, lots of action
started a bit of Adventure Time Compendium Vol. 1 and the vibes are pretty cozy so far, I haven’t watched the show a lot but I’ll probably stick with this
