    It’s amazing how much time and effort is put into supertuxkart. It’s one of the few games where every time I come back to it it’s just as good as I remember

    Before anyone gets too excited, this sounds like it could be an april fool’s joke… The first commit in the branch called “Add godot headers” just changed a variable: https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-code/commit/85caf690abe205d031f1e91405f2943875360a41

      The link in the OP just leads to “article inactive” right now. I agree that this sounds unlikely enough it’s probably an April Fool’s joke.

      Yup. I asked around in chat and we’re 99% sure it’s a joke. They don’t actually have a team big enough to transition to a whole new engine.
