Correct. It was the German Reich and those violent Prussians that did it. Germany is completely innocent.
I recall reading something funny I read on here about someone saying they were in a German (discord?) channel once and was fortunate to be there during a discussion between Germans about how the Nazis weren’t real Germans (or that the Nazis didn’t behave like Germans)
It truly is incredible how the Wehrmacht, composed of nothing but unwillingly conscripted medics, truck drivers and radio operators, managed to take over so much of europe
germany should have been balkanised
germany is kind of internally balkanized in the sense that it’s a very much federal euro state. this also means it does not work, which at least I think contributes greatly to everyone going “welp, time to hitler”

r/europe has always been a cesspit of haughty “liberals”, but the Russia fearmongering broke something in their brains and now they’re full on nazis instead of just latent nazis.
This seems a little bit more like putting history in the future rather than leaving it in the past.
