I’m a centrist. I think both the anarchists and the Marxist-Leninists have good points.

Yeah I agree, both the left and right are equally to blame. What we really need is a revolution by workers to take by force all the factories and machines we use to produce stuff. We should probably write a manifesto about this too

It’s not entirely a bad idea to assert that things like equitable pay, Healthcare, food, education for kids etc etc are the base line and not remotely radical opinions to hold.

Look at the beleaguered “centrist” opinions we currently have that are actually quite radical: always stand for the flag, worship the troops, infinite bombs for Israel, reinforce the southern border, aim world ending nuclear weapons at the world we all share. I could go on. Shit is unhinged.

Yeah, I’m actually a bit of a centrist. I’m not about to support crazy shit like genocidal ethnostates, school lunch debt, or homelessness, you know? It’s like I’m cool with so much stuff until we get to unhinged things like the government or insurance companies getting between doctors and patients. I try to keep it chill and lowkey, so I’m not about to suggest police budgets over 10% of a city’s budget or letting rich people skimp out on taxes. So it’s like I’m not accepted on the right or the left. Like imagine how obscene it would be if the loony left did some authoritarian shit like “you have to buy my product!” so I want people to have a choice about whether or not they buy a car.

One of Zizek’s ‘Remember he made graduation’ moments was a joke where he says “People tell lies about me all the time. They go around saying that I’m a radical communist, it’s absolute slander and I won’t have it. I’m an extremely moderate communist.”

One of the others is something to the effect of “In principle I’m totally opposed to the death penalty, just after a lot of specific people are killed first.”

Reading Lenin, Marxism-Leninism is centrist, between left and right deviationists.

Also obligatory Mao who was center left:
