Former Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is suing the NCAA for $100 million in lost wages, filing a lawsuit in DeKalb County, Alabama.

The plant claims the NCAA cooperated with UT to make him a scapegoat.

    1. The repeated use of “showcase” instead of “show cause” just makes me sad. Copy-editing used to be a thing.

    2. He apparently still cheated under the rules at the time, and apparently, like, a lot, or else he was so utterly useless that he didn’t know what was going on at the program. If anything, sounds like he should sue “Down in the Holler” UT, the boosters and Phil Fulmer.

    3. “Pruitt was 16-19 overall and 10-16 against SEC opponents.” Good luck with that damages figure, buddy. LOL. Good times. Go Gators.

      fwiw, I personally think that coonskin cap UT did use Pruitt as a scapegoat. But they fired him for cause, and to quote Sam O’Nella “I’m mad butt hurt isn’t a valid reason for prosecution”
