Introduced some friends who were interested in Riichi Mahjong tonight just so the first proper round ends like this lol.
Funnily enough also my first ever yakuman. Would have never expected to get my first one IRL instead of MajSoul.
Dang, that’s so awesome! Hopefully they still wanted to learn and play after that. I think it would make me want to try and get back at you, so maybe it gave them some motivation!
Playing irl is so much fun. I’ve managed to get a few of my friends hooked for now, so I’m hoping to get a lot more in person games now. You really can’t beat the feeling of the tiles!
They were a bit shocked when I asked for 16000 points from each of them but they took my word for it. ^^ We played a few more rounds which mostly ended in draws and then switched to other games that we planned for the night. We will play again in the future I am sure.
My friends were also very fond of the feel of IRL Mahjong. Can’t blame them. ^^
