Looks like this community never gained much traction… but I’m hoping there are still enough subscribers out there to revive it.
I’m new to quilting and learning to do everything by hand. At the moment, I don’t even own a sewing machine. I’m working on a set of simple placemats right now.

Hi there! I’m in the same boat. I’m starting on an appliqué quilt based on The Calico Jungle. Ambitious I know, but fun! We’ll see if it overwhelms me!
