Lots of new features over NSMB. I’m very excited for this one.

I much prefer 2d Mario to 2d Sonic, by a long shot.
I actually feel the opposite. Have always preferred 2d platforming. 3d has always just looked bad or gimmicky and I never really got used to it.
I have little interest in 3D Mario, but I loooove 2D Mario so yes.
What makes 3D so superior exactly?
This is as silly as the Sonic 2D vs 3D stuff. They’re both good (well, when the sonic games actually stay on point)
Hell SMW and Mario 3 are basically like Sonic 2 and 3 to Sonic.
I’m thinking you’re very likely in the minority with this opinion.
I like having both 2D and 3D Mario games. I kind of fell off the 2D games for a while because I wasn’t enjoying the New Super Mario Bros Series of games. I’m optimistic that this will be more enjoyable
