I am researching SIBs and stumbled upon the Seagull, called “Dolphin Mini” outside of China, that supposedly used SIBs.

But now it looks like it uses LFP after all?

Was this a China-only thing?

    AFAIK only the smallest 30kWh battery version of the Seagull uses Sodium Ion in China so it could very well be that they’re only exporting the beefier LFP variants at present. Haven’t heard anything definitive though personally.

      Yeah this is really odd.

      I could find a lot of contradicting info and even chinese sites only mention LFP batteries.
