Is there a name for this type of liberal revenge fantasy/ vindictiveness? So far I can only think of “Prodigal Child Fantasy” where they hope that the ‘foolish child’ (marginalised folk disillusioned with them) will come crawling home impoverished and beaten and beg the ‘father’ (liberals and democrats) for forgiveness and a chance to be their servants/ slaves/ unconditional voters.
