lmao so true, any time a pig kills someone the front page of reddit is just “NYPD OFFICER SAVES KITTEN FROM A SEWER” and a bunch of other PR bullshit like that. i also find it funny that westerners view these videos and just think “aw how wholesome i love the police” meanwhile a video from china of police partaking in a viral dance comes out and all the comments are “THIS IS PROPAGANDA!!! THEY’RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE THEIR POLICE LOOK MORE HUMAN!!! CHINESE AREN’T EVEN HUMAN LET ALONE THEIR POLICE!!!”

i actually saw a video of someone in an SUV in china going absolutely ham, crashing into a bunch of cars and shit, while an officer was trying to pull them out of their car. all the comments were “in america they would have just shot the driver” but presented as if it’s a good thing. so the chinese cops are both vicious authoritarians and weak pussies who can’t enforce laws.
