I’ve been using Lemmy for about a year and a half. Rather than limiting myself to content from a specific instance or my subscribed communities I normally look at ‘all’/‘top twelve hours’ and I block communities that I don’t want cluttering my feed. I’ve noticed that some communities like to duplicate across multiple Lemmy instances and often duplicate the posts as well… I created a Python script to analyse and visualise this which you can download from my GitHub. Here is an example visualisation but please note that:
