Reactionaries have won the 2010s and 2020s culture wars via gamergate and I can totally see them advocating to take away games because “why would anyone waste their time doing that when they can be working jobs I’m not even going to let them work at!”
I really hate saying this, but I think some electoralism is fine if not preferable. It may sound stupid, but I strongly advise anyone to the left of the GOP to rhetorically sell themselves as more fun than the right, and also going against the right-wing fun police.

I used jerboa and can’t for shit figure out how to use emojis in it; so I always have to copy a link to my own comment, got to web browser, and then edit in the emojis I want. It’s a hassle
I haven’t bothered to do this tbh, but if there’s a handful of emotes you use a lot you can likely set up macros for them in your keyboard settings.
Good idea! I also love just scrolling through the options to find em usually. Very few repeats from me because of that, so I’m also not sure how useful it’d be for me. I also don’t comment that much though to be fair.
Same I only browse with Jerboa. That’s why I never use emotes.
