Highlights so far:

First candidate for treasurer said we need to stop insulting big donors. Said they’re not all billionaires and all they want is to get equal rights for everyone.

Lots of emphasis on Florida early on

This nerd with management enrgy had this speech you could tell he thought was epic where he called the DNC a “family”

David Hogg is running for Vice Chair. That is kinda surprising to me

Lotta NPCs. This dude talks about “Extremes”. “I’m not extreme to the left or right. But I’m extreme when it comes to Women” edit: the more this dude talks the worse it gets lmao. Talks about working with republicans in his state. He is just uniquely the worst candidate for anything at this stupid forum lmao: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_R._Paolino_Jr.

Other thoughts:

The DNC chair situation is interesting. Ben Wikler seems to be unlikely to rig a primary and has picked up a lot of endorsements. He says he wants to build from the ground up in every county with unions. He will probably get blocked lol.

Tim Walz endorsed a guy from Minnesota that sucks. I am noticing a trend of people that want to run on Bernie 2016 policy/rhetoric without the class aspect which is lowkey good for losing.

Rahm Emmanuel got bullied out of the race. Would have been funny to see him somehow stay involved in the dem party in a major role.

Wikler would be the right pick if the DNC cared about winning, but they don’t I think. These labor aligned folks really need to branch out of the party. Burnie’s campaign took no money from big donors, or what ever the claim was. I have to imagine given the right atmosphere that could happen again. A bottom up, county by county, union aligned grassroots movement endorsed by Burnie Sanders has to be more successful then any other 3rd party, right?

It’s one thing for the PSL to talk about Dems removing them from ballots, but for the Dems to do that to Sanders and other former Dems, could hit differently.

IDK, haha, this reads like cope in hindsight. Tired of being on the nothing ever happens wheel.
