I was wondering if there are any DNA kits similar to what 23AndMe does, but aimed at soon-to-be-parents? We’re expecting a child and I thought something like that could be an interesting valentines present. I realize it’s not possible to get a report for the actual fetus we have, but I assume at least some information can be drawn by comparing both parents. Thanks!

No I don’t mean testing the child, instead if there’s some test that me and my partner can do, that could tell us, for example - your baby has XX % chance to have brown eyes

You could both do an AncestryDNA test with traits

That "traits"part would give you your individual genetic likelihood for how your genes may influence your nutrition, performance, and appearance. And then you could draw conclusions on that regarding your child.

Didn’t 23andMe have a big leak? I wouldn’t trust those trust those services ever. Well maybe if I wanted to leak someone else’s future health problems
