The one time I was almost called to sit on a jury, they asked a lot of indirect questions about interpreting and upholding the letter of the law. It’s a job interview. They don’t want even one free-thinking juror.
Yeah they absolutely do not want you to be aware that nullification is an option, much less an obligation
You’d probably get thrown in jail for contempt of court, but all you’d have to do as a defense attorney for this guy is get the family member of a cancer patient who got denied by UHC to testify and explain jury nullification. Surely 1 person in 12 would be willing to do the right thing.
I think of it this way.
Every detective on this case knows of a family where someone got screwed over by an insurance company.
Cops don’t love rich people, they just get paid to pretend to care.
