If I understand correctly, the infighting was due to non-admin wreckers, which led to an instance being banned from Hexbear’s allow list, and the way it was handled by admins, which ultimately led to TC69 leaving Hexbear yet again, not so much the actual change itself. What could have been a minor change blew up into a major incident.
